A re-amping device in simple terms, allows you to use a pre recorded "take" to accurately audition different amplifiers by mimicking the output of the actual instrument.
In other words, if you plug a guitar into an amp, it sounds different to when you connect a signal from your recording device, making it difficult to reproduce a natural sound
The Amp It Again 2 enables you to adjust the impedance of the signal coming from your recording device via a front mounted knob, allowing you to accurately reproduce the true sounds of the guitar/amp combination in the re-tracking process.
Once you have recorded the take you want, simply re-amp until you get the amp sound you are after.
Great right?
With two isolated outputs, you can even reamp two different amps at once
It can also be used with wireless systems and effects systems.
Housed in a tough metal casing, these things last and ANY product coming out of the ARX catalogue should be taken seriously.
These are in very limited supply so don't miss out.
Here is ARX giving the low down.
So its an impedance matcher and signal booster. What decent studio wouldn't already have an impedance matcher? And for everyone else theres an LBP1 or similar.
Not really getting the reason for the existence of this device.
