A few weeks ago I set up an uber account for a family member and used his colleagues referral details to get $200 sign up bonus for both referrer and driver. The day we set it up we emailed uber to tell them that the link didn't work and here is the referral details to add to both accounts so once the 20 rides would be complete we would both be eligible. Now after weeks of back and forth we get the same response of them copying a template of rejection and writing the case is resolved which it is not. It also gets answered by a different person each time and no contact number to ring.
Has anyone else had this problem and can suggest any advice?
Start spitting on Uber riders that get in your vehicle when your driving. Uber customer service will start talking to you straight away…
More seriously though you're fighting an uphill battle, these kind of referral promotions are normally automated/have very strict eligibility. Just emailing them and saying hey add this code for me after signing up without it would make it pretty unlikely they'd give you the credit.
