I paid $550 for mine, admittedly this was 14 years ago. Still worth the money for how good they sound and how long they've lasted.
Do you think it will last another 14 years? BD doesn't look like they're going to refresh them.
The only thing to go wrong was the black fabric over the drivers perished, but they should go the distance. I split my listening time between these, sennheiser momentum, and sennheiser 25sp cans, so I won't be wearing one out in any hurry.
I bought this on your post a few weeks back as well, I think it was $173~ delivered. I've had my beyerdynamic DT 250 for about 7 yrs and they are still going very well.
Nice cans, I've had a pair for 3-4 years and paid about $200 for them. :)
I picked these up last week (was the same price as listed actually!) Arrived in 4 days from the UK!!! I already had the DT880 250ohm but much rather these 770s. I find that games and electronic music really benefit from closed. Now to sell off my 880s

will this headphone works without amplifier? how does it differ from the 80 ohm one? better quality? sorry for asking to many noobs questions

I personally went for the 80 Ohm because it seemed the most flexible ie. I can use them with an Amp but still have no problems using them direct with a phone or other portable player.

I just recently picked up one of the xmas Fiio christmas bundle (e17k portable amp/DAC and k5 desktop amps) for about $225 delivered and now I'm really getting a signal with the sharpness and bass that these cans beautifully handle.
Now to get a portable player that supports FLAC, dual microSD and has a visual UI that adequately nagivates thousands of tracks…. I'm looking at more Fiio for that.just get an axon 7…I'm rubbing my hands already… :)
I have one complaint about BD line of headphones. The cable is too long and it's not replaceable.
