Cheap Outright Phone - Temporary Use

My iphone died on me. Will not turn back on.

So Im looking for a cheap temp phone I can buy outright.

Preferably something that would accept my vodafone sim card.

Why not buy a cheap $40~ phone from a supermarket which is for Vodafone?

If not, surely you can spend around 100-200 for a really decent phone outright, and you won't regret it, because it's not a cheap brick.
