Hello Folks,
PS. Read the TLDR to save time :D
I have lost my parcel that I ordered on amazon a while ago and it says that my parcel has been delivered and left on the door because I have left the authority to do so.
However, I have never done that on Amazon website and I have contacted I-parcel who is the first carrier and they said it is the driver(Fastway Courier) decision to do that. Then, I asked the courier driver who said that "All amazon parcels are allowed to be left on the door".
Do you know what should I do regarding my current parcel and other parcels in the future?
Thank You Folks and have a nice day!
UPDATE 29/11/2016
Finally Amazon refunded me the money plus waive my shipping fee. So I carry on with ordering same items from amazon.
- I also contacted amazon to put the "signature required" note and they said they will assure that my parcel will be delivered to me with my signature and name only.
I then texted the parcel delivery driver in my area to let her know about it but said she will not deliver it to me even when I already asked amazon to put the note "signature required"
But She(SlowWay Driver) said all amazon parcels are ATL and she told me to stop contacting her or she will contact police….. 0_o
UPDATE 29/11/2016 from their Facebook Chat
Upon asking them how can I avoid them dropping my parcel, they replied me with this:
I apologies however there is nothing we can do.
They may need to send it under a different box as they one they sent is automatically left without a signature.
Kind Regards,
They really have the balls to ask me to ask amazon to ask for new box special for them and simply ignoring the note "signature required" ???
TLDR:
Bought smth from amazon, the driver drop it in the first floor of my apt building which was lost. Amazon refunded so I bought the same item and I told them I want "signature required" note added. I then kindly texted the driver to let her know that I already asked for the note. The driver said she will not deliver it because ALL AMAZON PARCELS ARE ATL…
Was there insurance on the parcel?
