Just bought one of these, and noticed on the box is just says Redmi Note 3 (makes no mention of Pro Prime). Any easy way to tell which version I have?

Pro/Prime is something sellers add onto the name. That's why there are so many variants.

The Pro/Prime name is to distinguish between the 3GB RAM version with a Snapdragon 650 processor and the 2GB RAM version with a different processor

Me too - apparently searching for Redmi Note 3 152mm is the best way to ensure you get the right one, but there's not many good ones around.
This caught me out too. Got one for my wife and the cover I ordered didn't fit!
