The older types such as DDR3 will keep going up as people move to DD4 and there is less demand and hence turnover, even when I went into MSY 2 weeks ago for more DDR3 (2x4) to get my PC to 16GB they didn't have the ram as kits and had to but as individual sticks.

Had I seen this deal I would have bought the 16GB and sold my 8GB :-(

  I saw that DDR3 was going up too at MSY - combination of AUD$ and DDR4 coming thru - I brought for my son's computer - its about a 25% saving on MSY price.
