Update 29/11: looks like the $90 Giftcard is no longer offered, but the price is still the same.

Saw this on Harvey Norman online, the instore price is still $1099. They price matched the online price no issues, just got the last one from Liverpool mega centre today. Used my two AMEX cards to get another $200 cashback.

      I tried to negotiate and use my bonus $90 GC to pay for delivery, but no dice. That would have been even better. Although, you get the GC straight away as soon as you pay a deposit. 3 or 4 star would be better but you get what you paid for.

    Assailantsky how do you find the.build quality mate,looking at one myself I hear mixed reviews on hisense but bang for buck pretty hard to beat that

      Avoid side by side fridges. Get a French door instead. You have almost no freezer space

        Aside from the price difference and size to French doors, I didn't have any issues with space with a Westinghouse side by side 610L for the past 5 years.

      I haven't got mine yet, we'll pick it up next week. But happy to update once I get it. On the shop floor, it was pretty good, solid doors and nice exterior look with the stainless steel. For the price, I'm willing to test out Hisense.

      Did you register your AMEX card(s) for the Harvey Norman deal? You can simply ask the cashier to split the total amount between however many cards you like, but each with $300 or more to qualify for the cashback.

        I have the bank issued AMEX card, but no idea how to use it and I don't generally use it because, many shops charge extra % fees on AMEX cards. How to avoid this ?

          Harvey Norman is one of the few that don't charge extra fees. Go to AMEX Connect Australia to register your card for AMEX cashback offers and deals.
