Can't see why one would not purchase an Xbox One S for the same price.
This is silent. And the xb1 fan can get loud when under pressure.
No idea why you were negged. You are 100% right, and it's why I bought one.
XB1S does not do bitstream audio out for anyone with a decent (or even entry level) surround sound system, especially if you want Dolby Atmos or DTS-X which most 4K Blu-rays have.
Apparently it's coming in a future update.. but it's not here now and ETA is unknown.
But the biggest complaint is the XB1S is really noisy when playing movies.
Because just like OLED HD is a better picture than UHD LCD, blu-ray processing can result in lower quality picture & sound on inferior units, such as the Xbox One S
Not everyone plays games.
Does it play all regions for normal blu-rays and DVDs? I know 4K blu-rays are region free, but I'd like to purchase some 1080p region A blu-rays. I bought an Xbox One S with that intention, but completely forgot about the region locking (haven't got a disk to try it, but reports are that it will only play 1 region).
