Razor Deathadder Chroma Mouse - Overwatch Edition $40 +Postage ($139.95 RRP - Save $99.95)

450

I'm building a new PC and my final purchases are Keyboard and Mouse. I was browsing around the Razer website and came across this bargain. The Razer Deathadder mouse has great reviews and this Overwatch Edition is RGB to boot (scroll wheel only).

Free shipping if you purchases total $99 or more in one session, otherwise $26 was my shipping to Adelaide. $66 versus $144 the cheapest I found on Static Ice for the same mouse.

NOTE - The standard Deathadder mouse with the same specs can be found for $65 in some stores. The retail is crazy for the Overwatch edition but its my favourite game hence why I think this particular edition is a worthy OZBargain.

Ultra Accurate Optical Sensor

Powered with Advanced Tracking Analytics The Razer DeathAdder Chroma is equipped with a 10,000dpi optical sensor, capable of mouse movement speeds of up to 300 inches per second* and 50g acceleration. This means you can move it at either fast or slow speeds, and it will always respond onscreen with exacting accuracy and the organic fluidity only possible with an optical sensor.

Together with the incredible amount of technical tracking data provided by Razer Synapse: Stats and Heatmaps, this allows you to tweak the Razer DeathAdder Chroma to your individual play style and improve your accuracy by leaps and bounds.

The Ergonomic Shape

Favoured by top eSports Atheletes Perfectly designed to fit snugly under your palm, the ergonomic shape of the Razer DeathAdder Chroma gives gamers the most comfortable gaming experience ever, especially during the most testing of battles. Together with its rubber side grips, the Razer DeathAdder Chroma keeps you in control for extended gaming sessions.

$26 shipping… what a rip makes the whole deal not worth it especially if u take the overwatch aesthetics out its just a deathadder mouse which could be had for $60

    • The Overwatch aesthetics are the only reason you would buy this, and they look pretty badass - completely different from the standard Deathadder. Worth $6 more at the very least.

Should be worth $20 less, considering the quality of Razer products.

Razer products have very good quality. What are you on about :?

        • +4

@HeartFeltAxe: I remember my high school friends telling me this lie. I ended up wasting $200+ on Razer products.

          @HeartFeltAxe:
please. razer is overpriced garbage, the apple equivalent of gaming peripherals.

        • What is the brand of choice?

          @superseijin:
          logitech for mice
          ducky for keyboards
          sennheiser for headphones
          altec lansing for speakers
          razer for mousepads
          microsoft for in-hand controllers

        • While Razer is definitely overpriced - carrying that air of Apple/Beats walkers about it - I would argue that the quality is good. I had a Deathadder and Balckwidow that lasted for years, and only were replaced to go wireless with the mouse, and to change up my key switch type.

        • @darxtorm: Steelseries for mousepads - fite me irllllllllllll

        • @Telios:
i have both but i think the razers offer excellent value for money

    Back in stock

    • Damn I'm so tempted to grab this and one of those new Razer Ornata Mecha Membrane keyboards. Can take advantage of both free shipping and $15 code. But I don't really need either :(

  • Personally I like the normal deathadder aesthetics better…

    • I found the World of Tanks to be best.

    • i have the counter logic gaming one, i like black and white over green…

  • despite all the razer shit product, The DA is actually a decent mice due to its shape and sensor.

I'm not sure what you are talking about. Razer may have an insanely high price on their official website (Just buy it off MSY). But their gear is extremely high quality. Keyboards, mice, headphones, mousepads ect.

      • Not from my experience. The contact area on the DeathAdder I got disintegrated into a sticky mess around a year right after the warranty wore out.

        • +1

Had a bad experience as well. Bought a razer mamba 2012 for over $120 and the sensor on the mouse stopped working suddenly a month or two past warranty period. Contacted them and they tried numerous troubleshooting fixes, none of them worked n after that they said they couldnt do anything else about it because warranty had passed. Had to go all the way to officeworks to dispose of the electrical goods properly too.

Great mouse while it lasted but can't trust the durability of it after that.

      • The mouse wheel in my DeathAdder went just after the 12 months warranty and a razer megalodon gave me a few headaches when using windows 8, got a hyper x cloud 2 headset and a logitech proteus core mouse instead and have had no issues what so ever, both incredibly good products much better than the razer gear

    • Previously I would have disagreed, my last DA lasted 5 years. Bought a 2013 version recently, but I've noticed a rattle inside like some glue has come loose when I move it quickly. Still works fine for now, but it seems like their build quality is not up to scratch.

      • Maybe it's just their recent build quality? I've had my DA since 2011 and it's still working fine. I'm a heavy game user as well so it's not like it's exactly had a vacation.
