Out the front of Coles Melbourne Central they are handing out free samples of Primo' Chicken Roasties.
Looks like a cooked chicken snack you eat cold.

Yeah the cost, it was $3.50 for a single packet the other week!
I don't mind the taste and the nutrient levels seem healthy enough for a snack. However IMO is overpriced and they should have a bulk pack (say 1kg or 500 grams at the very least) priced at $10 for people who want to bring them home and divide it up into snack combinations. At between $3 and $3.50 ($2.50 on special) it's not worth it for 70 gram snack. It's a pity because I do like them and would purchase in bulk for $20 to last me a week or two but no way am I habitually spending that amount each day/second day on them! (Dry, tasteless come to mind but they are still nice to me and relatively high in protein for giblet, niblet things).
Got these from Coles the other day. Overpriced and they have a strong smell. The convenient concept is a bit flawed, because they require refrigeration, and usually if you have access to a refrigerator you also have time to prepare a meal for cheaper.
