I was hoping for Assassin's Creed II. I think AC3 is probably one of the weakest entries in the series since the towns aren't very built up being colonial. It's still an alright game for free though.
Anything is good it its for free.
Kinda lol I redeem all the free games from indiegala on my steam account but I can't say I'd waste the time to click install on it since they look like trash and have like 40% negative score

The story and hiding mechanics were probably the weakest things about this one. In particular, after a pretty amazing first hour, the story fizzles and it seems almost impossible to hide from guards in the town.
But sure, free is free, and this one isn't nearly as bad as Assassins Creed Liberation.

The guide with the AC series, odd numbered entries suck :
AC1 (proof of concept, terrible game), 2 is amazing, brotherhood was depressing, revelations was great, III was terrible, 4 was amazing and didnt even need to be an AC game could have been it's own thing, unity was terrible (play rogue instead), Syndicate was great.
I still don't know why rogue never got a ps4 release, it reigned fire over unity.

AC III is free now via UbiSoft Club (www.club.ubisoft.com) - but you will have to use their games management software (similar to Steam and Origin) to download and play it.

What are the requirements to play this game? Can this be played on PC? Sorry about the dumb question, but some one who has never played computer games is going to try getting into the digital arena, after hanging (partly) the soccer boots.

I have Intel Core i7 with windows 10, with more than 50 gb free space. Hopefully that should suffice.pc requires Graphics cards to play games
