USB C-to-C cables don't need that. Only A-to-C ones do.
This is OzBargain, you don't want to ask that question
I will pay $1, where is my option?
Who's ever gonna say anything but the lowest one?
aliexpress says from US $1.60 to 2.00 for cables 50cms to 2ms
But did that Benson dude approve them?
<profanity> sick of Benson
If they're USB C to C they don't need Benson approval. Only Type-A to C.
Not for USB c to USB c cables. They don't need the resistor.
Using a cheap ($1) USB C from Aliexpress with my Le Max 2 now with my work computer. Works fine as charger and (MTP) data transfer.
Anyway I would be happy to pay $5 for a good quality USB cable.
I would pay up to $12 for a Benson approved fast charging Type-A to C cable from an Aussie seller.
USB cables are typically commodities and the rule of thumb is that the lower the price the more of it people will buy.
And if you're selling USB type C cables make sure they've been given the Benson tick of approval.
If the cables are $5, I might get two; $10 each I'm probably only buying one, but >$10 most will think is a ripoff.
