Noticed what seems like a pretty good price for some decent specs. Screen looks like it should be OK with a decent resolution, which is the falling point for a lot of the 'unbranded' tablets. Tablet is dual core and has USB Type-C. Can also bundle with keyboard and a few other things for a little more $$$.

What do you guys think?

Don't forget cashback also :)

  • can't remember the difference btw plus and pro. both are better than the Hi10.

    • Think pro has laminated display. Jumper 5se with keyboard only win 10 on gearbest for $228 delivered.

      • Correct about the pro having a fully laminated display.

        • Chuwi site gives this in specs….
          Hi10 Plus
          Screen type Capacitive (10-Point)
          Screen size 10.8 inch
          IPS Yes
          Screen resolution 1920 x 1280 (WUXGA)

          Hi10 Pro
          Screen type Capacitive (10-Point)
          Screen size 10.1 inch
          IPS Yes
          Screen resolution 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA)

Can't see anything about screen protection layers or laminating
While Chuwi show Plus with Z8350 and Pro with Z8300, GB show both having Z8350.
The Plus is 10.8" IPS with 8400mAh, Pro has 10.1" IPS & 6500mAh. Given the only advantage of Pro is lower weight, it's hard to see the benefit of the Pro over the Plus (unless you want the nicer add-on passive keyboard)

  • My only concern with any of these tablets direct from China is that they seem to always say that the OS version it ships with is all you can use (or basically you're on your own if there are issues)…..
    Notice:
This Android/Windows device is designed to function specifically with the current Android/Windows OS installed on it. Any alterations such as upgrades, modding with custom ROM, rooting or flashing the Android device with other firmware will automatically cause the device experience matters as well as void the device's warranty. Please think twice before operating all these actions.

Given that W10 auto-updates and you don't have a choice in the matter, where does that leave you if say you buy it, W10 does it's thing and the tablet becomes flaky within a few months of receiving it?

    Rep…
Any guidance on how GB interpret their statement above?
Chuwi website makes no such limitation on use and support from what I can find
Also the Pro version of this tablet is shown as 2 in 1, but doesn't include the keyboard or stylus….doesn't that nake it a 1 in 1 with the option of extra K/B to make it into 2 in 1?

    • I assume "the current Windows OS" would mean Windows 10, not the specific build of Windows 10 it ships with. Not sure about Android, probably major versions (known by codenames such as Marshmallow and Lollipop).

  • Chuwi hi book pro is the only laminated screen in the series, pretty nice tablet if reviews can be believed. $230 though, a bit more expensive but way better screen

    • How much better? Like Nvidia shield tablet better or Samsung Galaxy tab s2 better?

  • Wait can this run steam? DotA 2 or CSGO or tf2 etc? Or even maybe some older games ? Aoe2 homm3 majesty etc?

    • it runs full windows so you can install any windows program on it, such as steam and games

dont get your hopes up though, its like gaming on a netbook. These devices dont have the hardware for any seriously graphic intense games, due to lack of dedicated GPU and fairly basic CPU. Expect older games to run OK, maybe some modern ones on lowered settings.

best thing to do is to google the game you want to play and the tablet name to show if someone has tried it
