looking to get Google Home and can't find it at a reasonable price on the internet. most sellers have it listed for $300 plus where the price should be about AU$150 to AU$170.

So that's $200ish delivered, and potentially, once the date clicks round to the 23rd in the US the price might drop to US$99 (not sure if B&H are part of that).
Sure enough, they have cut $30 off the price, which makes it AU$167 delivered for a limited time.
If you want it, fill yer boots.
Tries B&H.
I just bought from B&H… I expect the final RRP in Oz to be $200 so cost wise I think it will be close.
Mine should arrive early next week. I am quite excited by it, I am sure it will underwhelm in reality.
As Sane points out, It's US$99 tomorrow (US time) direct from Google (~$AU130). So if you use a forwarder, you could have it to you for about $150-$160. Right now other US retailers aren't advertising plans to match but typically they would.
Keep in mind Google Home also uses a proprietary right angle plug into the base unit. It's not a USB plug. I don't think they have AU style plugs available yet. I forgot to check if the base plug was rated for 220v when I played with one. Long story short, it might not sit so nice on your table, bench, desk with the non-original plug.
Sorry to be bum. But why do ppl buy this ?
agree, this sounds like paying for more telemetry…
This was just posted for $165 delivered.
thanks for the post hamza23!!!!
Why don't you get it shipped from the US with a forwarder?
