Looking for The Best (Cheap) Action Camera

Hello brilliant OzBargainers,

I am looking for a cheap but good action camera. My needs are:

Decent recording quality
Decent photo quality (10mp and up)
Be able to go in a waterproof case
Have it by 20 Dec, as I go away for a few weeks

I was keen on the Xiaomi cameras, but after looking into them, there is a Chinese version and an International version.Supposedly the Chinese version is more restricted and is only compatible with the Chinese app. But, I can't find where to buy an International Version?

I heard this one is pretty good. I think there was a deal posted not too long ago. Not sure about Dec 20th though.

  That's a pretty sweet camera with 240fps @ 720p. But around the $300+ mark.

  **Make sure the there is a fair bit of light. Once things get dark, then you know you have a cheap camera.

I bought the Elephone Ele Cam about a year ago and used it heaps around Europe, from memory it was about $150. I personally found the image quality to be better than the GoPro 3 that I had previously.

SJCAM M20, SJCAM 5000x Elite, Gitup Git 2, or Elephone Explorer Pro for sub 150$. If you want it cheaper(sub 100$), then Firefly 7s or Xiaomi Yi.
