Lol you got pulled in like an Invicta. They just have inflated prices and have 80% off, 90% off etc, go on google type in the watch it's like $30.

    • So this would be cheaper then at AU$26.48 delivered.

I know, but 84% off seems like a bargain. If that was the case why isn't this website filled with Invicta watches since they always have 90% off 80% off 70% off.

I see your point, Op should probably remove the % discount from the deal, it's just going to cause hate.

Gearbest call it the Megir M2015, if you use the code - FBGBES - you can get the black model for AU$26.04 delivered

But it was US$13.72 delivered last week according to Mike_1 on Watchuseek.

It will certainly impress the watch lovers who buy based on whether watches look expensive, but know nothing else about watches.

    • We already know Quartz isn't worth anything over $100.

      • But it looks expensive!

      • We already know Quartz isn't worth anything over $100.

Yeah you have to pay a lot more to get something with inferior time keeping capability and high service costs.

It's about appreciating the actual movement itself. If you can't do that, then don't get into it. But I wouldn't pay more than $100 for a quartz, it just isn't worth it in my eyes. It's like a vintage car or something.

Why buy a vintage ferrari when it's old, parts are hard to find, it isn't as fast as newer cars, it costs a lot to maintain when you can buy a Tesla which is faster, easy to maintain, cheaper and modern?

        • @NotYourFavPineapple: I appreciate the craftsmanship that has to go into it, just don't personally value it anywhere near the cost. I get it about vintage watches, I guess I just don't get it about new watches made with old tech, maybe if I could see the movement every time I used the watch it might be different.
I am not trying to have a go at people who are into them just stating that I don't really get it. To use the car analogy from my perspective, it would be like paying a huge premium to have a car engine handmade whilst knowing that it would be less powerful and less fuel efficient and require far more maintenance but somehow finding value in the knowledge that it was handcrafted, each to their own however, if we were all the same, it would be a boring world.

        • @tryagain: It's the same with modern cars, everyone will make the move to electrical cars, although it'll be a long time from now, that's how long it took to transition from mechanical to quartz. Only a few car makers would make non-electrical cars and it'll be at a premium cost.

I don't know a lot about cars but it'll probably cost a lot less to assemble an electric car than a non-electric car.

      • Unless you want a chronograph. Don't mind a bit Bulova Precisonist - no jumping seconds.

        • Yeah, i've seen a sweeping second hand on a huge wall clock at my university, it's safe to say that it isn't something new and low-cost to do. I'm not sure why more manufacturers don't use it.

Can't stand the rip-off Tag logo - makes it look cheap and tacky

  • The Megir M2011 is $13.37 delivered atm.

  • The red NAVIFORCE NF9040 for approx $10.63 delivered is a good buy.
