Hi, new member here. Question about classifieds forum.

I've visited this site occasionally over the years but I never knew there was a classifieds forum until I was googling something today.

I'd like to make a sale post there but the rules say "no 1st posters or P-platers". What is the definition of a p-plater?

    No that's not the problem, the problem is that your account has to be at least a year old. sorry

    Please see our classified posting guidelines here.

    Only members with accounts older than 1 year or contributing members who have shared deals at OzBargain are allowed to post in the classifieds area - this means no 1st posters (L-plates) or P-platers who have been a member for less than a year.

    FYI a contributing member is one who has submitted a deal and waited 6 weeks since. At this time or once 1 year has passed since your membership started, classified access is automatically granted.

      Oh didn't realise they can after six weeks of posting a deal.

      OP probably easiest to post a half price special from the supermarkets not in the catelogue

        Yes certainly want to give contributing members access. You wouldn't be able to post in the classifieds if not, you are 2 weeks short of 1 year :P

          @Savas: Novices, eh? I only discovered 3 minutes ago how to find out a member's total comments. When they made a competition on jv's 40,000th I thought someone had counted his pages of comments and multiplied by 20! As for bullet points, must I actually type the word Point?

          @PJC: Hahaha yep, no you don't need to type the word lol. also times by 20 wouldn't work when there are multiple comments on a single page!
