PS4 3.5m to USB Audio Options

I bought the Bose QC35 Quiet Comfort and found out that the Bluetooth audio is not compatible with the PS4.

I'm after some recommendations on using these headphones with my PS4 that isn't going to cost the same amount as buying the PS4 sony headset.
I thought I would buy a small lapel mic to use as well.

I assume something similar to the below will do the trick. This isn't a good option as it's from a US store.

    would the ps4 have to know what that adaptor is, via a driver or something?

      Yes.
      There is a range of devices that work with the PS4. Even ones that you think may not be compatible. Even Logitech ones that say there not compatible and work fine.

      I heard the audio on the cheap ones were terrible.

      Have you used one? What's the quality like?

        I've used one on a PC for several years. the sound was good. used it to play out through to an amp. no distortion. no static. 10/10 would recommend.

    I really cant complain about the playstation headset.
    Really nice but yeah this is interesting for me to read what works and doesn't.
