      Me too. I think the plane sequence is the best superhero sequence in any superman movie. Possibly any superhero movie.

        Straight up. If you removed the island lifting the rest of the moovie was great. I also really loved the scene when he flies up to the sun to re-energise.

    Good price. Just be mindful most of the reviews listed are for the 8-disc version. This one has none of director Richard Donner's extended cuts etc.

          Yup, you are right. I just checked with Zavvi and they are listing the normal editions in this box set. As I have the extended and Donner cut as a standalone, I might as well get this set. Thanks :)

      ugh, may as well find copies of these movies on the high seas, at least you can pick and choose which editions. Price is great though, too bad it doesn't have the extended cuts or it'd be worth it easy.
