First post. Help with format appreciated.
I own 3 suits from Oxford including the pants. One of the pants started chafing at the groin area (but I was using it every alternate day for about a year), and another one tore at the pocket area when it mildly brushed against a table corner. The 3rd one seems to be going strong still with fairly regular use. For what it's worth, they're pretty comfy. I'd never pay full price for them, but when they're 75% off they're an OK purchase for day-to-day business wear.
Oh I completely agree, but 60% + $30 off isn't bad. Needed a new pair of suit pants for an event on Tuesday and found one for $58.
Although maybe that isn't a good price? I haven't had to buy a new suit for a while so I'm not 100% up to date.

I used to work there and the RRp's are just so high it's obvious they're baiting people in with these huge 'sales'
for eg there was literally 2 boxers, just cotton, nothing fancy, striped and looking like they belong to great-grandfather's in a box for $99
everything about the company screams out tricking and cutting corners

That's pretty much why they constantly have stacked sales or cashback offers. No one should ever buy full price from them. Really not worth it.
They should be reported to ACCC. Similar practice to CT Shirts which were recently fined for doing the exact same thing.
This whole practice as a whole needs to be eradicated. Seriously.
