Local indie comic shops will often be priced about 30% lower than Borders (I've specifically noted the graphic novels in Border's to be especially overpriced).
Plus: comic aficionados are notoriously generous, and will soon lavish you with slow-moving stock once they get to know you.
Good if you have a gift voucher, though.
