I'm a bit wary of Bosch Appliances. We had a fridge that died within the first few years and a friend has a dishwasher that has been serviced a number of times. That said Bosch do seem to have pretty good after purchase services. We tend to go Miele nowdays, more expensive but they do seem to last.
Bosch only costs about 20-30% more than an LG or Whirlpool etc. Miele is more like double or triple.
Almost everything possible in my house is Bosch and I haven't had any problem.
Both insignificant sample sizes though :)
There is some lower end Miele, so it doesn't have to be double or triple. I agree the sample sizes are small, just passing on my experience. Glad yours work well. YMMV.
