Well I was hoping to be able to hold out until the new Macbook Pro with TouchBar came out, but I can't wait the 2-3 weeks..

Honestly can't believe the starting price for these things, so exorbitant. I was wanting to get one too but even with a deal it would be hard to justify. Will now be looking at Microsoft machines unless a great bargain comes along in the next few weeks.

They are also offering 10% off the Touchbar models too if you order them now during the sale.
Better to wait until all stores get the touchbar ones and then wait for another 10% off sale, then price match at Office Works for a extra 5% off. Either that, or buy discounted JB gift cards through Blatchy's Blues.
Can't you just buy a cheap $200 windows laptop to tide you over? Then grab a touchbar on sale.
I ended up grabbing the 13" Touch bar model yesterday from JB at 10% off.. so happy with that :)
