My mates go through Eastbay usually but the shipping is the killer and I would like to be able to send them back/swap them if they don't fit. With the click frenzy sales going on, I was hoping to find a pair at Puma, Adidas, Rebel etc. No one seems to stock them!

"Weight lifting shoes" are just flat soled shoes with no or minimal cushioning right?
Almost, they give a bit of rise to the heel as well. For now I just use flat shoes and slot some 2.5kg plates under my heels for squats.
I remember wearing joggers by mistake once - nearly killed myself with squats with the soles collapsing. Did the rest of the session bare foot. Well worth getting.
