Well I've been on optus for a while now and got the txt… I guess it means the first time you recharge your current account between now and end of Feb.

do they send you a voucher code for future use or recharge your account straight away ?
Also to let you know there is a good compeition going on with them, everyone who recharges now till feb wins somthing, last time I recharged I got $20 free credits. They have a winners list on line and lots of people been getting free ipod shuffles, Wii and TV.

This is along the same lines, but you can also get 10% off when you recharge at Woolworths or BigW (as well as Dick Smith and Tandy). The advantage with recharging at Woolworths or BigW though is that you also get a fuel discount voucher. Note that you need to purchase at least a $40 recharge though. IIRC the deal finishes at the end of March.

when they say "first recharge", does that mean its only for new customers ?
