Cashrewards Has Never Come through with Any Cashback

Hi,

I've 'used' and purchased through cashrewards at least more than 10 times through different browsers, Chrome, IE, Firefox etc. Never have I once received any cash back. I have even made multiple enquiries and my 'click history' is rather thorough. Had all my transactions gone through as advertised, I should be looking at at least $200 credit.

Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong.

I have extensions on chrome, but not on any other browser which i've tried.

I click via their website and shop as advertised, but nothing…

    Did you use private browsing ?

    • And the good ol' antivirus or other applications cleaning/stopping the tracking cookies?

      • Only antivirus I have is Windows Defender and default security settings.

        However, given that this would be the only logical reasoning that my cashback is not coming through, i'll give my computer a lookover. Cheers.

        • You're also staying within the browser and on the webpage? Going through CR, finding the item you want and buying. No look over on the faceybook tab? ;)

        • @Clear: Haha. I do go through CR, they just redirect me to the store as expected. Thanks for the heads up though.

    • It would be but my Adblock extends only to Chrome as far as I am concerned. Don't have it on either Firefox or IE.

      No private browsing.

  • You might be running some addon that blocks it?, if you use chrome I think there's an addon that helps? (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cashrewards/foehlp… could be this? Can someone check as I haven't used it?)

    80 percent of the time it doesn't work for me either, but I run adblock plus, no cashback addons and the addon called disconnect so they're probably doing it.

  • I think I read a comment somewhere about th chrome add on or extension for cash rewards will turn green if it is tracking? Someone might be able to confirm that for you.

    I now use a vanilla Safari and go straight to cart without clicking around at all. Paranoid I know, but it works every single time.

    • I think that's the way i'm going to go. Download Safari just for CR haha, but I guess if it works it's my best option. Cheers

  • I have had some issues previously as well and couldn't work out why it wasn't working or what I had done differently when it was tracking. Since installing the chrome browser extension 100% strike rate. Would recommend using that. If you have the Cashback activated and green light on the site seems to work every time.

    • Will install. Looks like using the extension with the fallback of vanilla Safari is my best bet. Cheers.

  • Hi, I used to have this issue before.

    If you use Cashrewards website, they can track your click history. All you have to do is going to "My Account", choose "My click history". There will be "Send an enquiry" button next to store names which you actually have purchased products , click that and then click "Start my cashback claim", follow their instructions to submit the claim form.

    After submitting the form, I believe Cashrewards will contact stores to ensure if you purchased items, then you can get your cash back.
