  • For those wondering, shipping is $5 (to Melbourne Metro at least) - hence the $54 total.

  • Seems like out of stock. No option to add to cart, only to wishlist.

  • Can you buy the Legacy add on after buying this, or only as one bundle ?

    • +1

You probably can, but the legacy add on (or modern warfare remake) won't be available until after they milk the sales of the more expensive legacy version. They want to make as much money as they can before selling it separately. They know that there will be a high number of people who want to access the remake so that's why the add-on is not yet available for purchase individually.

Nice price, but this will still be the first year in 7 years that I don't buy CoD.

    • +1

      Why is that?

      • +2

Essentially, it's pay to win. To unlock the "stronger variations" of the guns in the game, you need to purchase keys to unlock the supply drop / care package. Milking more money out of us I guess. I bought IW when it came out and returned it and got Titan Fall 2, no regrets, titan fall 2 has felt so refreshing for me to play compared to the COD. I was a COD fan for a long time but playing Titan fall 2 really gives me that refreshing futuristic shooter experience.

        • Hmm I see, I've been tossing up between the new BF, COD and TF.

        • +1

I recommend Titan Fall 2, the dev's have stated that all DLC will be free so that the player base will not be fractured/divided. Everything in the game is unlockable via levelling up or using the in game currency system. (You earn currency from levelling guns or your character).

Essentially how I see it is, BF = you have a desire for the "olden" style warfare. Or TF2 you have the desire for the futuristic style warfare.

        • +1

Nowhere near pay to win but you are entitled to your opinion.

        • +1

@NeisAU: Yeah, my bad. You don't have to purchase / put any money into the game. You can just play as it is and unlock the normal version of the guns. Where money gets drawn into this is just the DLCs mainly.

        • @mrjayy: I've been smashing the game out, still hate the specialists.

        • +1

@NeisAU: Seconded. While I don't mind the future setting I very much dislike the specialist system and brightly coloured customisation options.

        • @tranqme:

          Buy all 3?

      • +1

The games setting doesn't appeal to me, how much paid content can effect multiplayer bothers me, and needing to buy the Legacy edition to get the Modern Warfare remaster hurts my wallet.

    • I second this comment. Hence why I liked it.

  • Do big w have a price guarantee I purchased this game for $69?

    • +1

Probably not as Dick smith is no longer a physical store and it is only an online store. However you can give it a try, just call up the store you purchased from. If they ask for price match evidence, just load up the Dick Smith screen and you should be alright.

  • Would this be the Aussie version for dlc purposes

    • +2

Yes it is the Australian PAL version.

  • +1

Really enjoyed the campaign. Haven't played the multiplayer yet but easily one of the best campaigns since MW1/2.

    • Wait a sec, you bought a COD game for its campaign and not the multi-player?

      • +1

I only play COD for the single player campaign. They're easy, you can chill and relax, blow up some stuff.

Multiplayer for me is celebrating if I live longer than 10 seconds :) Amusing at first, but get over it.

      • Didn't buy it, just borrowed a friend's copy. Only needed it overnight.

  • I thought i was doing good for $60 from Microsoft with $25 voucher if only it was not on the way would have grabbed this

  • -2

I'm sorry but Infinite warfare at any price is NOT a deal.

  • +1

The campaign is quite good. Best COD campaign in years and I played them all. That's at least worth a play through. But I agree the multiplayer is pretty ho-hum this time.

  • any other games worth grabbing / sale price ?
