You're quackers!
Christmas lunch. Thank you Lord for this gift of thy bounty which we are about to receive.
First Donald, now duck. What a week!
First Donald
Im here!
I'm here for the puns, bring them on.
what are we having for dinner mum?
Bread and duck under the table
Waddle happen if you aren't impressed?
I'm here for the wise quacks.
I take it you guys are going to duck into Coles this week?
Sure beaks boring old turkey.
Good luck getting any. I'm guessing they never police the allowable purchase numbers on these because there's always a big empty space in the freezer when I go to get one of these duck deals. Has anyone actually been able to buy a duck at half price?
last time they were half price i maanaged to get a few at my local like 2-3 days into the sale. maybe raincheck it if you cant find stock
Got 8 last time but freezer can only accommodate 5 this time.
Broden?
@BargainKen:
Nah.. Early Bird :p
4 people like this = sold out.
@Tony76: sounds like a COTD sale
I think restaurant owners go in and buy entire trolleys full. Last time this duck special was on I saw one lady with a trolley stacked to the brim. For some reason I doubt she'd have a freezer at home to accommodate it all.
You can call the store first to see if they have any in stock. I've always been able to grab a couple. Sometimes you may need to ask staff if there are any in the back.
My local had a decent range, I spent a bit of time Pekin the right one.
Are these lame Oregon ducks?
You got duckleys chance
For those looking for recipes, try this one http://www.luvaduck.com.au/recipes/view/duck-a-lorange-moder… did this last time, soooo good :) Will definitely be buying again this time around, thanks for sharing op
Might duck down to Coles now and see if I can get one.
Also I think whole Turkeys are half price this week. They are also huuuugggee. I think they are $40 each though.
I wish they sell the psyduck to have high CP & high IV.
isn't it rabbit season?
Does it include feathers? If not, how is it a whole duck?
And where's the head?
How do the larger ducks fair? Is it just more fatty?
Time for pekking duck, san choy bao and duck soup!!! left over can use it in fried rice!! Yum!
If you go late on Tuesday night, often the Wednesday sale prices have been applied, especially if the yellow ticket has already gone up…
Pro tip!
Yep, noticed this always happens at Broadway (NSW) which closes at midnight, good way to get popular deals before they run out of stock.
Quacking deal.
are these frozen?
Yes
cool. might store some for xmas. thanjks @bargearse
Yo Mama so fat, When she jump for joy… She get sduck.
That's the worst joke I've ever heard you goose
That one tends to ruffle some feathers around here
Excellent, still have 2 left from the last time they were half price but will grab a few more…..my dog loves duck and at this price it doesn't break the bank :)
Did anyone find the duck? I can't see it in the catalogue
it was on the back of the catalogue. I went to my local coles today, they had entire fridge full of ducks.
I just bought one. The guy went to the back to grab a box. I think they had a trolley full of them
Managed to get 2 from Coles Bentleigh. Thanks OP.
This shouldn't break the bill
