  • looks eerily the same as two that both fried in the Aussie sun.. and blew my cigarette lighter fuse in the process. The only difference was it didnt have the swann sticker on it, it came from HK. I'd avoid

    • I guess with Bunnings you have some recourse.

  • Bunnings? odd lol

    • Yeah no wonder it's discounted. I'd never think of even looking in Bunnings for this.

  • would be good to get some opinions on this. My only reluctance with buying the G1W is that, although it's cheap, the process of returns etc if there is anythign wrong with it

    • They are cheap and very popular on Ozbargain for a reason…. Even I have 2 :)

I have the unbranded one of this, it randomly works and randomly doesn't. Sometimes will turn on with the car but then turn itself off again. Tried with two different power adapters (my wife has one too). Can't get it to record sound despite what the settings say. Runs out of memory even though it's supposed to loop record. The list goes on.

I'm going to ditch it for an A119 I think

I bought a phone from Hong Kong that looked like an iPhone. It was shit, I'd avoid iPhones.

I've never heard of anyone in Chayna (that's what it's called, I checked with Trump) copying products.

    • Er, this is a dash cam. I'm not an expert but my guess is that you'd get pretty crappy reception when trying to make a call on it.

      • pretty sure he's just making fun of another comment earlier in the thread who had a similar comment about similar but dodgey cam

      • You can always record something, transfer to PC, then email or upload to a cloud. Problem solvered.

  • Just bought one. Its one of those basic camera that don't even have a micro USB.

Seems like an old stock camera worth nothibg more than $30.

  • this wont be real 1080P, interpolated to 1080P.
