Nope, all xbox one games are region free :)
Games are region free but DLC isn't. DLC is region locked.
DLC is also region free on XB1

I got both consoles, how does this compare with the PS4 version apart from the lowered resolution?
if the rest of the game is the same (performance, frame rates) the discount justify a purchase.

Hey suicine, it actually runs better on Xbox One due to the lower resolution causing less dropped framerate.
Have a read of this.As a multiplayer game primarily, the lower resolution leading to better framerate is a huge advantage.
Note: I still disagree strongly with your really strange ideas of a game needing to be cheaper on Xbox One if it's a lower resolution than on PS4. If this is a way of trying to bring that up as you always do, please don't. Resolution is hardly everything.

Totally illogical thinking, since games are NOT PPP (Priced Per Pixel).
You buy games based on gameplay.
So, buy the best gameplay for the $$. Nobody gives a shit about resolution.

The part where your argument fails is at "with all other things the same"… because they aren't the same. There are limits on each console, and in this particular one the Xbox port is choosing gameplay over resolution. It's not a deficiency, it is deliberate.
If all things are the same there is no gameplay difference. Alot of there games is ONLY resolution difference. If that is the case and price is the same why force yourself to buy the version with less pixels and try to justify that its the same when its not.

Simple answer: A game for a PlayStation WILL NOT WORK on a Xbox.

The people without 2 consoles you are right it doesnt matter. But for the people with the 2 consoles wouldnt it be good info to share on here which version is better if the games cost the same and the person CAN choose. This isnt about being a fanboi cos i remember back in ps3 and xbox360 i do point out the games thats better on 360 and buy those instead of ps3.
It seems like anytime someone mentions the differences of the 2 versions, they get instantly labled as fanboi when it is actual usful information for people woth 2 consoles.
