OK, not a band to everyone's taste but…
During each day of November you can download a free live track by the Grateful Dead during the "30 Days of Dead" celebration (320Kbs MP3's and DRM-free). Tracks are from throughout their extensive career and usually lengthy.
Only downside for me is the lack of ID3 tags in any of the files but you can edit those yourself.

BTW, I first posted this as a deal back in 2011 (there are different tracks each year). You do a Google search for "30 days of dead 2011" or 2012 etc. and get previous years as a single ZIP archive.

Last time I checked many on archive.org were for streaming only. Also, the sound quality varies quite a bit as some are audience recording and others are soundboard.
If you are an ardent Deadhead then go for archive.org but I prefer the curated approach where the selection may be smaller but the quality is guaranteed. After all, they have been selected by Dead archivist and producer David Lemieux
