Can't speak for the quality of the tool kit but we bought a pair of driving lights from these guys and for the price they're awesome quality.
Keep in mind delivery times though. Especially with this - "Adventure Kings Complete 74 Piece Tool Kit - Pre order for early December delivery". We pre ordered our lights in March this year for "late April delivery" and didn't get them until late May/early June.
Have to agree with the above. Delivery times are horrible. If you can wait, the products are decent quality
I orderd a bunch of stuff in September for October delivery. Everything except for a generator came in October, and the generator is due tomorrow. The lights seem to be reasonable quality, but I haven't had a chance to use the rest of the items.
Their marketing actually put me off buying anything from them for years. When they list savings, it's not based off of their RRP, it's based off what "comparable 3rd party products" are selling for. So everything is perpetually on "sale".
How's the quality of these Adventure Kings gear?
All the reviews seem to be paid infomercials
Delivery is a shocker. If you really want to get stuff from here on the spot, go to the warehouse out in Smithfield in Sydney or Lilyvale in Melbourne.
Lilydale*
I have a Kings Awning and Tent Room and Sand bags..All 3 items are good quality and are worth the money I paid for them.
I would def buy more Stuff if i still had my 4x4.
That being said. Their website is crap. their support is crap too.
Best to go visit a store if one is near you.
Website, phone sales, support are very average, stores stock only a very limited range of stuff too.
However they did process my refund quickly when I cancelled the order due to there extra-extended delivery times.
Their prices are good but you get what you pay for.
They also have different specials each day/week, so just keep a track of what you want and buy it when it's cheapest, I doubt this tool set ever actually sold for $179 or whatever the 'suggested' price is, and it will probably change price tomorrow.
4WD Supa Centre are by far the worst company i have ever had to deal with. Have you tried calling them? Have you seen how they handle issues with delayed freight?
Sure they are cheap but worst customer service every.
I actually got to talk to one of their sales people on the phone, he was friendly happy and helpful.
Their website-email support even fixed a minor issue with my order promptly and without drama.
However, the items have not been delivered yet, so could still be an extended wait.
Have you bought from adventure Kings before? I often wonder what the quality is like?
They have these daily weird $0 freight special where the usual discount is not as much and then it basically adds up to the higher discounted cost, with the added freight which you'll see the day after.
