Yeh, just find a credit card with x months interest free on purchases.
did some googling and found JB Hi Fi Smartway which is their renting policy/scheme. Might be a useful alternative, on the link it mentions flexible end of term options such as buying it etc. But for a question like that, seems like calling your local store and asking them would give you the easiest answer.
Smartway is a rip off. You pay double or triple sometimes and you don't own the goods at the end.
As mentioned above get a credit card with zero interest rate on purchases or even in store interest free is a better option than renting it
laptops? or able to hold and pay it off?
you wanna pay top dollar for an old laptop afte ryou pay the lay by off?
i dont understand the concept of layby
Yep, unless it's a valuable run out item, just save the cash and buy whatever is current when you have the $$$.

You want something like that.
My local store used to, for items over $500 max 3mths.
I would be suprised if many companies do layby anymore. Pay on a credit card?
