Why not 08:30am?
Gotcha ;)
More like 9:55 the way cotd works
I'm guessing they won't be on sale until later in the day
"Extended Battery Life" - compared to what?
Maybe to having no battery?
Are these better or worse than those $29 bose headphones from harveys?
One thing its worse on, is being $10.99 more @ Aldi!
these aldi ones are probably better than beats
Are they Bluetooth by any chance?
I wouldn't think so. The fact they come with an airline adaptor probably means cords
Are these compatible with iphone7
Haha good one 😉
Are these wireless?
I am hoping so… if so I will be getting one.
I believe they have the airplane adapter so you can use bluetooth but also plug into something like an airline when needed.
Bought these earlier in the year. The noise cancellation certainly makes a difference, but it more dulls the noise, rather than completely cancelling it out. They're also fairly comfortable (over ear), but did feel a touch too small for my large head, even on the biggest 'setting'. Carry case is surprisingly sturdy, and the airline adaptor was a nice touch (and actually came in handy a few weeks ago). They're worth the price I'd say, but obviously don't expect the equivalent of a far more expensive pair.
I returned these crappy headphones after one day of testing. Won't buy it even if it's $15.
Wow such a big contrast to the good reveiw above - what were the problems?
hes a snob
There is a mushroom on his shoulder telling him about Aldi specials
@bdl:
I also returned these within 24 hours.
Im not sure if these are the same model as the ones I bought but they look similar. I have QC15's for years and thought I could get these for the rest of the family.
Appalling noise cancelling, terrible fit, mediocre sound. The noise cancelling was like wiping off 10% of background noise. I tried them with the mower, in a car etc. Noise cancelling was next to useless. The earpads and the tension in the frame seemed really tight and were nowhere near as comfortable as the BOSE (Yes I know they are $300 cheaper).
Despite the price, I wouldn't bother. If you want to spend $40 for a bit of noise cancelling just get in-ear buds or a set with nice comfortable headphones with some insulation
@rehab: awesome review, thankyou
Can anyone tell how these compare to Bluedio ones
the bluedio ones are pretty good
Thanks. How would I go about connecting these bluetooth bluedio ones on a plane?
to what? listen to airplane in flight audio?
planes dont have bluetooth
but if you REALLY wanted to, you can get a bluetooth transmitter with a standard 3.5mm audio jack input into it then get a 3.5mm audio jack to airplane plug converter all for less than 10 bucks
you then connect the BT headphones to the transmitter for audio
i did this to an old device that didnt have BT output.
sounds messier than it actually is
Are these any good for ear protection when mowing the lawn?
They'd most likely stop any debris that might happen to ricochet from ending up in your ear canal, but I don't think I'd be using them as hearing protection.
FWIW, I bought a pair last time Aldi had them, and I've used them on flights since. These are the first NC headphones I've ever tried, so I don't know how they compare with Bose costing 10x as much, but for $40 they seemed OK enough to me.
There's a difference between active and passive noise cancelling.
You mean 20dB of white noise vs actual insulation
I guess they would need to be wireless if I wanted to use them when mowing the lawn :-)
Anyone tried these expensive earplugs?
Just to let everyone know I spoke to Aldi and these are not Wireless/Bluetooth headphones.
So why the batteries then?
hmmm…. for the Noise Cancelling part?
External Audio…. Does this mean there will be audio leaks so other people can hear it too?
Plan B for Wednesday 10:01 am.
