      Thanks typo fixed (5.1)

  • (incorrectly thought overseas stock - comment deleted)

    • Wireless 1 is already local stock. Australian stock with a physical store in Parramatta also.

Is the dual SIM functionality 4g+3g? Because if not, the 2nd SIM slot will become redundant in December for telstra, April for optus and September next year for vodafone.

    • +1

AFAIK, it's 4g+2g. You can designate either slot as 4g, then the other slot will be 2g.

      • +1

Then it's effectively a single SIM plus a micro SD.

4g+2g phones will be useless as far as the 2nd 2g-only sim goes pretty soon.

  • I got the F1 from this seller earlier this year for $234. Great phone. If i needed a new phone I'd definately get the R9

  • oh good deal

    • You're a good deal.

  • I would get something like the Moto X Force over this…if you can get HN to sell it for around $550, and you have Amex credit, it comes to 450ish and is overall a better device (though much bulkier)

This SoC was in the Redmi Note 2, old, way over priced, not sure what the appeal would be of this phone

Actually trying to work this out myself? With all the great Xiaomi deals around this doesn't seem to stack up.

  • What does , Localised F1s mean?

    • +1

Localised F1 Plus. Its called the Oppo R9 here but Oppo F1 Plus overseas.

  • How does this compare to the typical Xiaomi offerings ?
