Just moved the wifey's from Telstra prepaid $30 plan for 28 days to
Aldi prepaid $15 plan for 30 days. You need to buy the $5.00 sim starter.
She doesn't work so it was best fit for us.
While Aldi only has 500mb data on the $15 plan She doesn't need excessive data limits as she does not use it a lot when out and we have wifi at home. She just recharged after first 30 days with about $20 of the $25 credit left and about 400mb of data.
It does not rollover and accumulate like Telstra does if you recharge before or on the due date but we will take the 50% price saving per month.I am on the $35 value pack, it has been good so far.
Best in the (pre paid) business.
Compare with Woolworths mobile. Slightly cheaper, Data rollover, Aussie owned! Also Telstra 4G.
Yes.
I don't make many calls so I find the 1 year expiry on Aldi prepaid Pay As You Go is good value. (This is different from Aldi plans.)
I recently got a third-hand iPhone from my daughter and was pleasantly surprised that the Aldi prepaid lets me make calls and also check emails and webpages while I'm out and about, very affordably. For the money I pay up front, I can use it all for calls or all for data - there are no set limits on how I use it.Pay As You Go rates are
$0.12 per min for Casual calls
$0.12 each SMS
$0.35 each MMS
$0.05 Data per MBIt's costing me about 2 or 3 dollars a month.
But Aldi prepaid wouldn't be the right choice if you make a lot of calls or want to watch videos on the train.
yes
