Hi again

I thought I'd start a topic devoted to the idea of leveraging Shopsmall with other offers.

For example you can get $10 back after $20 spend at Captain Americas in Ferntree Gully.

However you can also use a 2 for 1 offer to get a free burger at Captain Americas. So theoretically you could spend $20, get 2 burgers and then get $10 cashback. That's called leveraging.

Similarly you can get $10 back at the Wantirna Hill Club and also get a free meal.

Are you sure it's not called deal stacking?

I thought leveraging was like borrowing $100,000 at 5% and then investing it for 10% returns = $5,000 profit.

I take leveraging to be using one deal which gives you a small advantage and using this with another deal to amplify the advantage. But I'm happy to use your terminology.

TIL there's a place called 'Captain Americas' which hasn't been sued by Disney.

Edit: Also a lot of the time, deals have exclusions for any other deals.
