Best AmEx Connect Setup with Multiple AmEx Cards

Hi,

I couldn't see anything in the forums about this, so sorry if there is duplicate.

I have a CBA issued AmEx Card, which I have a single login for AmEx Connect. I have recently got a new David Jones AmEx card with a supplementary card for my wife. Same account but different card numbers.

Am I best to use my existing login and add the extra cards OR have separate logins for each card? I want to make sure I get the same offers on each card and can't find any info on how it works with 2 cards on one login.

    Separate login for each card mate.

    Make sure you get a supp card for your wife on your CBA card also, will give you 4 accounts.

    Between my wife and I we have 6 logons, 3 cards each with supp holders for each others cards.

    Really makes a difference to our savings when the nice Woolies Amex credits hit.

      I have a supplementary one on the CBA for my wife but it's the same card number?! I just assumed couldn't add it.

        Has to be a diff card number with diff expiry to work on Amex Connect unfortuanetly mate.

    I'm curious how the people with heaps of cards get them. The form asks for a licence number?

      Ha! I get offers all the time for cards. Must control myself. License number doesn't matter, financial position does.

        IM referring to sup cards not new cards. So financial position isn't relevant. But in the form they have a licence field.

    I have multiple cards on the one login. They have a Switch Cards command. You have to switch cards and reregister for any offer of course. It's always worked perfectly for me.

      Wow you're right…I just checked up the top menu after looking for ages and found it. Going to try and add 6 cards now.

      You don't think this had something to do with your Apple Pay cashback issue recently?

      Ahh. Is this on the website? I've only really used the app so maybe that's where I'm going wrong? If only seen physical forms for the supplementary cards previous. Thanks for the tip.

      hey, just added wife's supp card, different card number, to my amexconnect account and enrolled in a couple offers. Would there be issue redeeming these due to the name difference on card (wife) vs on the amexconnect (mine) account?

      Yep I can confirm. They have a Switch Cards option, if you miss it in the top menu, it also appears in the middle of the page amongst all the offers. It's worked for me.

          Not sure, because I don't have supp cards. You could try. If it allows you to save the offer to the card, then I don't see why it won't work.

    Ugh, had no luck. :(

    Tried adding DJ's AmEx or my wifes Supp card to my existing AmEx Connect login - "We’re sorry, the Card number you have entered has not been recognised or is not eligible for this site. Please try again. If you continue to see this message please visit our FAQs or Contact us."

    Created a new login for AmEx Connect, can see all the offers, but when I click on them I get "Enrol to Card" instead of "Save to Card". When I click on Enrol, it redirects me to the DJs AmEx page, Offers section - https://global.americanexpress.com/myca...etc and the offers aren't all there. The only ones that are there are Shop Small, Trafalgar Tours, Langham Hotels and the DJs $40 back when spend $200. So miss out on Harvey Norman $300, Rebel Sport $100, Click Frenzy $60 and so on.

    So peeved, wonder if they are tightening it down or just a DJ thing?!

    I am in the same boat. I think I will create separate login to avoid any confusion.

    I have registered on separate logins but dont see any offers on supplementary card? Am I doing something wrong.

    I am supplementary card holder, wanting to apply AMEX card for myself. The online application form has one line "Please check this box if you have another AMEX issued card", so I should say Yes or No. Could anyone please advise?

    I've got the answer from AMEX, tick No.
