  • Which Australian credit or debit card works for hulu?

    • +1

CBA worked for me until I cancelled 6 months ago, I might sign up again based on this.

      • but they ask for zip code when i try to enter credit card details?

        • When I signed up years ago I would have just used new York lol.

        • I use an Australian issued American Express card. When asked for a ZIP code I think I put in my postcode with a leading 0.

        • @tp0:

I just added a zero to the end of the postcode when I was previously signed up.

Sign up for a US PayPal account and pay for it that way. I've been doing it that way for ages now to pay for my sister's Hulu account, works fine.

      • Do i need to make up a US address for paypal?

Not as far as I can remember, you only needed to verify it if you wanted to use it for like eBay or something I believe. It's been a while since I logged into it as it literally is a set and forget apart from the monthly receipt I get from PayPal.

        • I tried doing this a few months ago. Doesn't work any more. You need to verify your USA PayPal account using a social security number or similar before you can use it to subscribe to hulu..

My Amex issued card also didn't work.

It all went down hill when the card I was using expired and I couldn't add a new one.

      • Second this - you will need a USA PayPal account and a VPN to pay these days. To create a USA PayPal you need a fake address (fakenamegenerator). Well worth the effort though. Love the fact episodes go up same day as in the USA for most of the networks.

It's actually really irritating that they don't just auto give this price to existing subscribers :( to get the price I would have to cancel and resubscribe which I'm nervous about attempting as they have cracked down on payment methods and mine is currently working

If you contact their chat line they should offer it to you. I saw lots of success on reddit regarding this.

Yep, this was super easy via chat. Just asked to switch to the $5.99 'ceo sale' plan and they did it no questions asked. Nice work OP!
