  • it is going to be 50% if you have an Amex, as part of ClickFrenzy offer which is yet to be active.

    • Only if you spend dead on the $60 limit. If you want a $100 thing, for example, it'll only be $30 off. This way you'd get $40 off :)

      • +2

Multiple Amex cards is part of the OZB starter pack now

  • Can you use multiple gift cards for purchasing an experience?

    • Yes up to 10 per transaction online. Infinite over the phone

      • good to know, think there's a couple of things I've been wanting to do :D

      • Perhaps it's changed recently, I just tried to make a booking and it was maximum 5 online. Called through, and they said they could process more than 5 over the phone.

        • 5 Gift Vouchers
          10 Gift Cards
          There's two

  • So could rent a Lamborghini for a day for 700 dollars, not bad

    • +6

I could buy my whole car for that much, so not that amazing.

Spoken like a true ozbargainer! :)

  • Great. There's the incentive for me to jump out of a plane next month. :)

  • Sooo.. should be able to get this ($199) for $120?

    https://www.adrenaline.com.au/brisbane/motorbikes/motorcycle…

Was holding off as just did a track day not long ago, but at that price much more attractive.

The vouchers, on the Target site is says they are valid for 12 months, on the Adrenaline site it says valid for 18 months, does anyone know which is correct ?

I am new to this that's why this dumb question, is it better to buy Aderaline or find provider my self? I wish to do skydiving near Wollongong, and it seems none of the packages on their website have photo/video included its also not clear if two people will jump or three, third one making the video..

    • +1

the video is made from a gopro strapped to the instructors wrist.

      source: survived.

  • I hope I'm wrong but as I recalled, if you buy an activity with gift card, you have to pay full price or RRP.

Red Ballons and Adrenaline's GC are occasionally on sale at Coles but after I found out they would charge me full price, it really put me off.

    Can anyone confirm this?

    • +1

Full price on adrenalin yep, their listed price on whatever package, can't combine with "save $15 today sitewide" deals, but by using egift/gift adrenalin cards you save on not paying the card processing fee, also dont forget cashrewards.

      • Sorry to annoy you, but what about this booking? Do you just mean coupons are invalid or even sales on specific activities?

The site has save $70 bringing it down to $299. Would I pay that price or $369?

        https://www.adrenaline.com.au/brisbane/skydiving/redcliffe-b…

        • +2

Should be paying the "our price", 299, but no further discounts (adrenalin always has save $15 off everything, cant use that with gc).
When you add to cart, that deal you linked will reduce to $284, but as soon as you add a gift card as payment it'll revert to $299)
So effective price for you should be 6x$50 gift cards, @40% off, so $180 out of pocket, receipt will say $299.
The other option is to not use a gift card, wait for a $15 off deal and pay ($299 - $15) x "processing fee, 2%?" (avoidable by paying by gc)

        • @cwongtech:

          Awesome, thanks mate.

Just ordered a bunch of gift cards and found some useful information.

    • Max 2 cards per order (I numbered mine One, Two, Three etc to help me remember)
    • First two orders will go through no worries but all subsequent orders will fall under review
    • Called Target Australia Online on 1300 753 567, verified that it was me making those orders (name, address, email, item details)
    • Loss Prevention team will have to look at the orders and verify them, I was told to expect it sometime tomorrow

As for Adrenaline, there's a $4.50 booking fee per gift card usage AND a $4.50 fee per activity, eg

    $200 activity ($4.50)
    4 x $50 gift cards ($18)
    Total to pay: $22.5

Still winds up being a 30% saving or so.

Was told I can use as many gift cards as I'd like over the phone and that I can book multiple activities at once. Gonna be a fun weekend!

    • I wound up getting the first two orders of gift cards after 17 minutes so it's pretty quick for under 4 cards.

      Expiry is 12 months.

    • +1

Mate, I've made a booking just the other day using Gift cards - it's a $4.50 booking fee per booking, not per gift card.

So on a $200 activity, you end up paying $200 using two $100 gift cards and pay one $4.50 booking fee

      • Oh, the Adrenaline person I spoke with on the phone seemed to think it was per gift card. Sweet.

Target wound up activating cards 5,6,7,8,11 at 7pm but not 9,10. I guess they'll do those at some point.

      • It said $4.50 per GC on the terms & conditions. So we will have to wait and see.

  • Online shop doesn't seem to work for me - if I select $100 gift card it wants to charge me $100

      Re-read the title…

      • Oops :)

  • https://www.adrenaline.com.au/brisbane/jet-fighters/flight-3… so 2400 would only be around 1500 after discount.

  • +1

Have these been removed? I get a "We can't seem to find that item." when I click on the link and a search on target website returns nothing.

    • Yeah i think they must have been, i can't see them anymore either. I'm bummed i missed out.

      • Quite a damn shame, I was waiting til pay day to buy a few of these. Pretty bummed also.

    • +2

Just rang customer service and they are coming back on line today. She wasn't sure when.

      • They're back online everyone!

  • Can we do this instore?
