  • Are these any good?

    • I don't personally know but its a three year old model.

These are great, had mine for years, take them everywhere, when the missus says "honey, we gotta talk" I say "honey, where are my buds?".

    • They are great except the battery life. Expect initially to be around 5 hours. I've had mine for about 2 years and its around 3 hours now. The Charging case will give you back another 2 hours from a full charge.

    • Yes - big fan but the short battery life is irritating. I also occasionally get intermittent dropouts when I have iPhone in pocket and am walking around - not sure if others get this problem so don't know if this is just common with all bluetooth headphones.

      • I've never had a drop out with my Sony Bluetooth headphones.

      • I get quite frequent short-term drop-outs when walking round Sydney CBD, usually outside large Corporate buildings - I put it down to interference (using Galaxy Note 3).
And yes, they do fall out easily, and the battery life has diminished over past 2 years.
They stick out a fair way, for those who care about aesthetics.

Just be happy your phone isn't catching fire

        • Interference is always an issue considering BT is on 2.4Ghz and just about everything else wireless is on those same bands.

        • @Drew22:
The old Note 3 3200maH isn't what it used to be, gets better if I uninstall lots of unused apps, but looking to replace battery (unless I succumb to the Xiaomi Mi Max big-screen tempter), but now comparing a $15 3rd party 3800maH to a "legit" $50 Samsung battery I really can't see the benefit. "3rd party batteries aren't as safe" argument really doesn't hold water now, does it?

      Great headphones for sound quality.
Getting them to stay in your ears not so much (they have a tendency to fall out if walking).
      I wouldn't recommend for joggers.

      • never had them fall out while i'm walking around the shops.
        try some comply tips

      • Do you have a pair that you use for jogging?

      • I used them for running over 20km at a time - no problems with falling out. You just need to make sure the little wings are in your ear properly - when I first started using them I had them around the wrong way so they would fall out all the time.

      • These are great for Jogging. Right length of cable too unlike my other Jabra ROX P.o.S that will get caught up and ripped from the ears.

    • The audio quality is good. BUT they never stay in my ear. I can never get this to stay when I go for a run. Not sure if others have the same issue. Also its a little bulky.

      • If you use the little bar thing (no idea what you call it) they'll stay in place for ages, it holds them in very well.

    • i wouldn't recommend them. I ended up selling them. They kept falling out of my ear.

  • Mine are still going well for last 2 years.

  • so you pay $55.96 for single use only and $67.96 for mutipleuse as you can charge them.

    • +1

      exactly…..but not.

The case is essentially a battery pack that give you 2 full charges. Also you can charge the case while the case is charging the buds.

      • It was great, but my battery case stopped charging after a few months :(

      • Really? I've never gotten one full charge from the pocket. Not sure how you'd get two full ones..

How is this a deal when they're $45 at other sellers on eBay with free delivery?

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/282208108747

Edit: After reading the recent feedback for the above item, I'd stay away from that seller. PCbyte are a better option.

    • Agreed. Actually bought these headphones from that exact link a couple weeks ago - didn't get an adapter that can be used here, and the seller is definitely not from Sydney but HK.

      • but the earphone itselft is genuine? how about packaging?

      • Are the earphones legit?

    • I got the same item, i was a grey import with a US charger, you can use any phone charger with a microusb cable and it works fine.
The item is listed as Sydney based with couriers please as a shipping option however they never provided me with tracking. The feedback from buyers is that they are not Sydney based, perhaps.. but when i eventually got my item 3 weeks later it came in a Australia Post envelope so I'm not really sure where it came from but in the end I didnt really care as JBhi fi were selling the same stock for over $100, Overall im pretty happy with the item.

  • is it comfortable inear? I had beats one for months, they so easy to break apart

    • oh so you dont have to beat it to break it?
      kidding

    • They sometimes get a bit uncomfortable after a while. Maybe I have small ears, but the relief after I take them out sometimes is bliss. :/

    • I have had a pair for 2 years - still going strong.

I used them regularly for long runs and they were comfortable and the cable behind the head did not slap around too much (or would tuck into my cap).

Becareful of Pcbyte. They don't reply to messages, and have recieved a lot of negative feedback in the past year.

  • Main frustration is they dont hold charge, need to recharge them after 2 Gym sessions if you take 1-2 day breaks between sessions, Else will die only after 2 hours use

    • +1

that's normal mate, they only have a small battery

  • I have a pair, battery life is appox 2.5hr whilst listening to music. I use them for the gym, the sound quality is very good for music however hands free for talk / voice is horrible, i think its the crappy microphone. If your planning to use these for making calls I would strongly advise not to. For music is brilliant, the side buttons have volume control, track skip and power button. I picked up the same unit but a grey import delivered on ebay, Im pretty sure its the same seller as listed above for approx $45AUD, the item was brand new but came with a US charger. I simply change the earbuds via the microusb cable and any other phone charger or usb port. Im actually pretty happy with them

wow cheaper in Australia with that code than on Amazon!

Thanks for the heads up just bought a pair for the gym!

It's a great headset. I've got one and perfect for commuting. Agree though wish the battery life was longer but I'm not complaining of the sound quality

    • Agree. The sound quality is great :)
