Full HD Screen Laptops with Min 256GB SDD, Dedicated GPU (960m) and 16GB Ram - under $1500?

Full HD Screen Laptops with Min 256GB SDD, Dedicated GPU (960m) and 16GB Ram - under $1500?

I've done a bit of research - the Dell XPS 15" with 1080 screen is probably what I would like. But that's about $2k.

Ideally would like to grab something under $1500.00.

Any good alternatives?

But there is whole bunch of other refurbs on their site that could cover these same specs, I just don't know the Asus models well enough to point you to the cheapest option. There was a deal posted earlier but it was unpublished due to limited stock I think.

    • This is exactly the type of answer I was looking for! Thank you.

Dell Inspiron 15 7559 (1st Gen). Keep your eyes on the dell outlet and ebay for 20% off sales. You can get one with 6300HQ, 8GB RAM (1 DIMM), 960M and 1TB HDD for $1100ish. Buy and install an SSD and another 8GB RAM yourself. It's super easy and will bring you in under $1500. It is a very nice laptop for the money, I'm using one right now :)

    • Great Suggestion, thank you. I'll be on lookout.

    • Yeah, the other thing is to keep an eye on Dell DFO but you need to know what you are looking for and check it several times a week as stock changes frequently.

This was exactly my strategy - it's been great so far, and excellent value for money.

You have to be quick to get one from the Outlet though - they're in high demand. I used Web Alert for Android to notify me when a 7559 was added to the listings….scored a refurb model for $850 :-)

There are quite a number available with the eBay 20% off sale too….

    MSI-GL62 (i7-6700HQ, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD, GTX960M 2GB) for $1375 after discount. That's a pretty sweet deal.

    • You guys are great. Thank you so much for taking the time to search/post similar deals.

    • Do you have any experience with this laptop brand?

      Build quality reasonably good?
