Or you can get 3 months for the price of 1 here

Although the data is half of the above data?

    • NOTE ChandWrx offer: That offer is only valid on the old 1GB plan, not this new 2Gb plan and you can't upgrade to 2GB plan during the promotion unfortunately otherwise that would be a great deal

      • You do get the 2GB data. Select the 1GB plan & just click next & it gets updated to the new plan.

Thanks chadiwrx just updated the offer!

    • I signed up but in the confirmation email it says nowhere about the 2 free months. Any ideas ??

    Same offer as Coles Prepaid.

    • +2

      Yomojo offer above gives you:
      - $20 credit via the referral credit above
      - 3 months for the price of 1, (thanks to Chadiwrx)
      - 30 days rather than 28 days with Coles.

      • didn't know that. Thanks

      • but not prepaid sadly.

  • You sure you can get both the 2 months free says
**This offer is not available with any other promotion or offer

    • Just a heads up that The referral is not available with any other promotion or offer too

      • So would seem one or the other

  • Hopefully the 3 for 1 offer runs for another month as I've ordered a Kogan SIM for the 12gb unlimited at $5.

  • +1

Would this qualify for the $45 cashback from CR?

    • Yes. Any plan

  • Cashrewards $45 Cashback, regardless of which plan you're on. Pair buy 1 month get 2 free - essentially they're paying you to use the service!

    • But if you go to the Yomojo's website using Cashrewards then there is nowhere to put the code YMJAW? So I guess it's either cashrewards and referral credit or buy 1 month get 2 free right?

      • The deal has been updated since my last comment

  • +2

Negged- OP has given referral link to benefit themselves, with no real understanding of the greater deal of CR Cashback and buy 2 get 1 free. Also stack with $20 referral. There's been multiple posts on this, it's a cracker deal when you factor all 3. On the lower plans, they're actually paying you money to use the service.

  • Have been using Yomojo for over a month… pretty crap network. Never had such issues with Amaysim though who's Optus reseller too.

    • +1

Don't understand, how can be crap since it is Optus network? My kids have Amaysim and works fine.

    • This makes no sense

    • I guess you haven't been using them after all……

  • Can anyone see when this promotion expires? I have just renewed my Kogan for another month.

    • You have 28 days to activate, so just buy it in a couple days and then activate later

  • +1

So this is not a prepaid, right? You have to give out CC?

    • I'd like to know this too. Just swapped to Kogan for the 4.95 month of service.

      • It said this "Ongoing price is $19.90, auto-renews every 30 days"

So in that case I think it is Yes.

  • Anyone know how excess data is charged do you have to buy data blocks or they just charge as you go ?

  • expired?

  • actually im on the 8gb plan from ovo for $34.5, and i dont go over half way, ill change to this plan to save $5 - $29.90/month - 6Gb data (up from 5Gb) but i lose 2gb but thats ok, i cam from 2gb and now i am able to sae you tube videos for ofline watching so its a good thing!

  • (when you click on link says 1Gb but changes to 2Gb once you enter your details)

No option to click says 1GB?

  • +3

Devil is in details. Unlike Kogan, this one allows usage beyond xGB and charge by excess MB. Kogan simply cuts off data when monthly allocation is used up which I dearly like.

    • this is how they will get you

      • Wow thats nit good 10kb or per kb blocks?

        • Found "Excess rate 5c/MB".

Keep in mind that there is a 2% surcharge for paying by CC and there is no way to avoid it as CC is the ONLY payment method they accept ATM (no recharge vouchers to buy or Bpay)

Keep this in mind and add 2% to all quoted prices.

Also, I believe this is in breach of TIO guidelines which mandate that all telcos MUST offer at least one payment method which attracts no surcharge.

Also, 2% is excessive based on RBA benchmarks which say that cost of Visa/MC to retailers is 0.6-1% which means this level of surcharge is now potentially illegal following the recent changes to legislation around CC surcharges

Customer service & tech support all based out of Manila. The company has little to no staff in Australia

The 3 for 1 deal apparently finished on the 28/10 according to a service person called "Daryl". He also said you can not stack the referral and 3 for 1 deal:

"I understand that it seems this link still shows the 2 months free promo, however, it also seems that you added a referral. Please note that you can't have the referral credits and the promotion at the same time, because one will overlap the other promotion as stated on our terms and conditions. Right now, I see that you will get $20 referral credits once your number and your referral successfully activates your accounts."

    • Hm the link and coupon still works for the 3 for 1 so much still be active

      • Have you been able to actually apply the coupon code?

        Did their system accept it?

        • If you sign up via the link it auto puts the coupon in and states the deal while signing up and also the coupon

  • Bit the bullet and signed-up. Can always go back to Kogan if need be but hopefully don't have to. Cashrewards says $45 cashback is estimated to be approved on 29 Jan 2017. Happy to give an ozbargainer a $20 finder fee. Overall a good outcome :-)

    • Did the "pay one month, get 2 months free" coupon code (YMJAW) work for you?

      • There is no need to insert coupon code because the link (below) already include the code. You can fee free to use my mobile number as a referral so that I can get $20 :-) PM me and I will give you my number :-)

        • But if you use this link, how do you get cashrewards?

      • +1

        It works

        • But does your confirmation email / PDF say anywhere you get 2 months free?? I signed up and I can't see it in any documentation after signing up.

        • @sylon:
I chatted with them and received confirmation. Give it a go.

        • @dreamerman: cool, so it wasn't in your email either?

        • @sylon:
Yeah, so I immediately jumped on and started a chat session with them. They confirmed the deal and I emailed the chat transcript back to myself. All good.

    • So I'm on the page from Cashrewards and I can't see anywhere to put the YMJAW coupon code?

  • Is anyone here with Yomojo?

And would you like $20 credit?

    message me!

    • how is this ?

      • referral bonus credit.

        • pm sent thanks

  • Waiting for 2 weeks never received Sim card,Then I check the Billing invoice , WTF, the shipping address is totally wrong!! A strange address only my name is correct!! Then I contacted customer service, change to correct address. Another week passed. I still haven't received my simcard. Then I contacted you again, THE STAFF TELL ME "BECAUSE I HAVEN'T VERIFY MY EMAIL ADDRESS YET, SO THEY HAVEN'T POST MY SIMCARD YET!!!!" WTF?? IF I haven't verify my email address. How do I Place order, How do I Log into my yomojo account? Terrible customer service. This is the first time I write this kind of review, I am so angry and very disappointed.

Place Order on 13/10 Today is 10/11!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Received mine in about a week. Chill just chat with them on their website

    • Hi it is worth checking the delivery address after you have applied for Yomojo as sometimes the address hasn't been updated correctly. If you log back in and check delivery address you should see if it is correct. Yomojo has now been notified of this so hopefully won't happen again but worth checking.

As dreamerman said as soon as you chat online with them and advise of correct address the SIM arrives within about 5-7 days if you didn't receive it.

  • Can someone please PM me their number so I can use it as a referral credit? Thanks!

  • Yomojo fiasco
Hi everyone, if you got scammed by Yomojo denying you the right to use your balance to buy subscription packs, know that Yomojo changed their T&Cs after everyone got in, and then inappropriately denied everyone in retrospect. Yomojo admitted unable to specify a revision cut off date but their fishing net disadvantaged a lot of customers.

As a result, Yomojo used half of my "remaining credit balance" for a subscription pack.

Furthermore, a lot of customers had auto top up deactivated but were charged by Yomojo without consent. Such unconsented charging violates consumer rights. Ask Yomojo to remove your credit card from their system. Around late Dec 2016 to early Jan 2017, Yomojo admitted to system glitches. Please check your credit card and file a complaint against Yomojo unauthorised charging.

As anyone would, I want out and to take their "remaining credit balance" owed by Yomojo. However, Yomojo have highly unethical administrative practices in dispute handling too. I asked on your behalf to rectify this huge mess. Yomojo told me they would only if customers file a complaint. In such a way Yomojo hope none of us complain to avoid compensating us.

A TIO complaint was lodged and the support manager feigned ignorance of not understanding what "remaining credit balance" meant to wait and delay until after close of business on my last day of my subscription to repeat the same question three times. Yomojo purpose was to force me into chewing into my "remaining credit balance" so there would be nothing to reimburse. Dodgy af huh, but wait it gets worse.

Yomojo deliberately waited after expiry so that there was no service for a whole weekend + few days to call me and say the reimbursement will be processed. Yomojo has willful disregard for customers.

I strongly urge everyone to file complaints with the TIO to get your owed remaining balance back to your bank account from when Yomojo intentionally misdirected everyone. Also, to check your credit card for unauthorised charges. These violations must be reported to the TIO and punished for consumer exploitation. Yomojo fiasco
