Thanks to the recent $20 PayPal credit, I managed to buy my first X'mas tree (1.8 m with 600 tips) for $39.95… 😊
Now, I'm on the lookout for some ornaments ( baubles, bells, stars, etc) to go with my tree. I'm thinking of going for a Blue - Silver colour theme for the decorations…
Can you please suggest the best places to buy X'mas tree decorations at a bargain price?

I saw a 50 something bauble pack today for $10… But the OzBargainer in me was wondering whether I could get them anywhere else for cheaper… :$
Reject shop, cheap as chips, kmart.
Even cheaper— time travel to boxing day last year.
Yeah rookie error buying Christmas decorations before Christmas when you can them at least 75% cheaper (i wait for 95% cheaper) a few weeks after Christmas

@Ughhh: Will have a look at Reject Shop & Kmart tomorrow (and buy maybe the bare minimum)… And then patiently wait for post X'mas sales… 😊
@Limitless: I'd love to know what all decorations you bought during post X'mas sales and how much you paid for them…
Maybe you could DIY some decorations this year? I would hate to pay anything more than 75% off :/
I have bought many many christmas decorations over the years and i will only spend $0.20 on garland, packets of baubles (10 to 30 per packet), wrapping paper rolls (20m plus) and packets of cards (approx 15 cards a pack). You'll know the store is desperate when everything is $0.20. It can be hard to resist $0.50 but we are on ozbargain and that is too much :P
Christmas shopping is a bit of an obsession of mine :/ Kmart has by far the best and most deals but it is hard to predict when exactly they will drop prices and each stores offer different prices (i.e one kmart was $0.10 for baubles and another was $0.20)
Target also have fairly decent post Christmas sales. I am not a huge fan of Big W sales as they are better at clearing stock before Christmas so there is not much left after :(

I don't feel sooo great about my $40 tree though now… Lol… :$
I guess I'm gonna have to keep an eye out for post X'mas sales and stick to minimum decorations this X'mas…
@AbbyL: if it makes you feel better it was only in one store in WA so not worth the flights to Perth :P
Yep keep it simple and maybe borrow some decorations off friends if they have excess and you must decorate:)
I usually wait for the neighbors to put up some outside decorations. I then pinch a little from each.
I never do it down the same street (That would be stealing). Just drive a few blocks down.
Just wheel old grand dad in and make the old C… sneeze
I usually stock up at Big W.
Always a large range for a good price!
