  • CASE: Coolermaster Masterbox 5 was $99 @ MSY last I looked a week ago.

    It's a nice case that's roomier than it looks with amazing cable managment. Other than noise - it allows a lot out. However if you grab a Deepcool Gammax 300 CPU cooler to remove stock cooler noise ($24 @MSY) and optionally an Antec Truequite 140mm to front or back mount (do not get 120mm) for $16 @ MSY than your PC will be nice and quiet. Antec 1400mm is optional since case already has a silent 120mm on it but I wanted positive pressure for dust management.

    That said you might be Ok with the noise level of a stock cooler, it's not a jet engine by any means.

    These prices are before the 10% sale.

    Looks like a very good choice of components so far - you will have a lot of money left for a kick arse monitor BIIIIG monitor.

    Buy an EVGA 1070 instead from Amazon for less.

    Ty for downvoting a legitimate comment whoever that was. EVGA has been proven to have the best customer service in the industry so neg me all you like.

    Also, I'm pretty sure I saw a deal for 32gb ddr4 2400mhz ballistix kit from amazon france for $140-$150?

      That's really money that could be better spent elsewhere … 16GB is overkill for most users.

      But yeah, EVGA GTX 1070 Superclock Black Edition ~$530 AUD delivered from Amazon (before any international transaction fees you may pay) is pretty hard to beat.

      • Well yeah I was just making a comparison since OP was looking to spend $125 on a 16gb kit…lol

  • Here's a couple of handy sites for you to consider;
    http://whirlpool.net.au/wiki/rmp_sg_whirlpoolpcs
    http://www.logicalincrements.com/

  • You could also easily knock ~$50 off the price by going for cheaper RAM. the same RAM at MSY ($74).

    You can also knock another ~$50 by going for a cheaper PSU unless there's a particular reason to be paying that much for that model.

    If you haven't yet use control + F to search MSY's parts list for better prices. MSY should be your first place to check prices as they are "usually" cheapest for everything other than Amazon (I don't want to say MSY is the be all and end all as far as price but it's a better place to check prices first rather than anywhere else in my experience.

      I don't think that's 16GB
