Why isn't this a udemy course or an ebook?
The cables deal is very high volume and labour intensive to make some decent money. Postage seems to be the most expensive part.
When you buy stuff like that from China they must have an extremely low postage cost and the item still gets delivered in Australia by Australia Post.
I know what you mean. You can get them on eBay China for $1 shipped to your door here in Australia. Yet you couldn't even ship it locally here for that price. Doesn't make sense.
Author works in SEO & online marketing (according to his LinkedIn), and I am not sure whether he has actually sold cables on OzBargain, or just experience of one of his clients (or just his imaginary scenario).
