Great deal OP…. anyone knows whether they pre-activate the sim when you order? Notice that when you go to order they ask you whether you wanna port existing no. or get new no. therefore I'm curious. cheers
Based on previous experience, you will need to activate it when it arrives.
Great timing for me to get this for 1st month then switch down to their excellent new $30 plan. I'm sure you can change plan after first month?
Aldi mobile's $35 plan seems like better value. More data (not weekend), $5 less per month and still Telstra 4G

After some Googling it seems there is a small difference. I've used both and never noticed any difference. Haven't gone way out bush but did travel along the NSW Coast
@Dano33: Sorry, I'm in WA, so for remote WA there is a difference (I was with Aldi, now back with Boost). But for the rest of Australia, I am only reiterating what others have said in previous OzB posts.
