The Good Guys 30 Days Price Guarantee

Hey all,

So I bought a TV around 3 weeks ago from Good Guys and I suspect it was on 20% off for one day only yesterday at Good Guys to match JB HIFI deal. As I didn't see the price of that TV online y'day I'm not sure if it was on sale.

Is there a way to find out if particular TV was on sale? Called one of their store and person said as they did not sell that tv y'day, he cannot say if it was on sale.

And if it was on sale, could I ask Good Guys to match the price and refund the difference after the fact?

Any help/feedback you could provide will be appreciated.

    It sounds like the criteria above is no longer satisfied, as the sale price has expired.

    Search is bit hit and miss on that site but it doesn't list good guys. It has listed lowest it went on JB HIFI and HN. But doesn't list Good guys which they had on ebay for 20% discount (but they don't match their own or any other ebay store). Bing Lee has it on 20% discount on ebay currently.

    Good Guys price guarantee covers competitor prices, it's the whole idea of the guarantee

    So basically, I would've claimed yesterday, using JB HiFi's price

    Actually, it doesn't look like JB's stocks that TV (https://www.jbhifi.com.au/tv-home-entertainment/lg/)

    So then you come to this:

    Good Guys 30-Day Guarantee doesn't cover their own prices. It's no good if they drop the price, you need a competitor to do so

    Third time lucky! At last, Good Guys have approved my claim! It's been a good experience to get to know the T&Cs of their 30 day price guarantee.

      Sorry . I know this post is a few months old. Did you receive this as a store credit or EFTPOS card? What were the reasons for the other two failings?
