I contacted the support email from the Play store page ([email protected]) and after a few back and forth emails they just entered me manually

Just letting you know it worked for me just fine. And usually things always go wrong!
After logging in to the app, the splash page appeared with the comp, clicked on it, took me to a web page, where I entered usual details and it said I was entered.
